We are so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. We have such great memories of our time together in Guam. Our son John is visiting and he mentioned how he loved shelling at 3 in the morning, Tom leading the way. He still has all the shells he collected.

Lucy, as you know, Tom was my immediate superior at Da Nang, Vietnam in 1967-68. It was a great pleasure to serve with and under him; and after Susi and I married in 1970, to visit you and Tom in San Francisco and later in Monterey. She and I very much enjoyed staying friends even from a distance until her passing in January; and I, still. The Life Tribute video was a wonderful way to share events from his life and yours. You and your family have my deep sympathies. I trust you will continue to receive happiness and comfort from those aspects of Tom and his life that are in each of us who knew, and still, each in our own way, know him. --A.J. Dear Mrs. Kile and family,
I was deeply saddened to read in the Creighton News of the death of Tom. He was one of the brightest stars in our class of '58. His parents and my mother, Margaret Brodersen McGill, were good friends and shared many interests in Creighton High school activities. My mother was one of the high school teachers during his high school years and she no doubt had Tom in some of her classes. The class of '58 had about 32 students in it and we were all pretty good friends. I have lots of wonderful memories of Tom.
Please know my prayers are with you and your family.
