Steve hired me out of college to join his ATM sales team, then 4 years later encouraged me in my promotion to NCR WHQ in Dayton, Ohio. I remember fondly him treating our sales team to snacks and beverages aboard his boat, as we navigated the St. Croix River. And I fondly remember him encouraging me to drive his Porsche 140 MPH down a barren country rode in Iowa, as I left him in the dust behind; he in my Mazda 323 :-) Rest in peace, Steve. May we see each other again someday. Your best hire ever, :-) ~Doug Daggett

Kathleen,
I am so sorry to hear about Steve's passing. We enjoyed working with him on your projects. He always had great insight into what he wanted. His pictures of freighters coming in to the Channel were 2nd to none. Wishing you the best through these troubling times, God Bless.

Stephan was a wonderful young man when I knew him many years ago, the good die young. Lots of good memories along with Bob.

Please accept our deepest condolences. We enjoyed getting to know Steve and taking him to the races with us so he could take some "Action" shots. We will miss him and treasure the CD that he made for Kim while she was racing.

Sending our deepest sympathy. Steve truly loved where he was in life and what he was still able to do. He will be missed by many. There's another photographer in heaven keeping his camera on those he loved.

To Kathleen and the family and friends of Steve,

It is with great sadness and a very heavy heart that we say goodbye. Our condolences to all that knew Stephan.

As a lifelong friend, dating back to the 2nd grade, we say goodbye to a brother more than just a friend. Steve was the best man at our wedding some 45 years ago and Bob was best man at both his. Steve gave Bob a second chance to get it right. Throughout the years, Steve was always the one to make sure the relationship lived on, always finding an excuse to communicate.

The last several years, we spent the summers in Door County where our relationship grew strongest. His love of photography and all things Door County, kept him in constant motion-impossible to keep up with. His latest love and excitement of being invited on the ice breaker Mackinaw in a few weeks to take as many photos as he wanted would have been a high light of his photography career. We are so sorry he missed the trip.

To a great friend, a brother, an inspiration to be all that you can be, may you rest in peace.

Bob & Beth Faucett

To a friend of forty years, a great business associate, friend to myself and my family. I'm so grateful he came to visit Carole and I, my son Shane and his wife Becky last October. I hold many great memories of him with pictures to remind me. Gary Kullman
