Dear Jim & Maureen, We are so sorry to hear ahout Ruthie passing away. She lived a very long time and we are so thankful that she had such a wonderful son and daughter-in-law to comfort her until the end. You are are our best friends and we love you both dearly. Such a lovely lady. Had the opportunity to meet she and Al at her dental office in Milwaukee. A visit by Ruth and Al was always a highly anticipated event in our office. Ruth was a very caring individual who never failed to lift my spirits with her visits. She will be fondly remembered.

"Life, if well lived, is long enough." Lucius Annaeus Seneca

Dear Jim & Maureen,

Although we didn't have the pleasure of knowing Ruthie personally, we knew her through you. She certainly did have a life well lived and nearly became a centurian.
To us, her greatest achievement was raising such a wonderful son! We value your friendship and we wish we could be there to give you consolation.

May your fondest memories of your Mom fill your heart and mind and give you solace.
With our deepest sympathy,
Mike & Sandee

Dear Jim and Maureen, thinking of you two during these difficult days.
Sympathy to you.
Ruth was a spit fire I always admired. She showed us how to age with vim and vigor. I definitely admired her high energy level. Was she born with extra energy or did her work ethic drive her?
I admired her distain for injustice. She was a feminist long before the 60's movement started. She seemed to relish good conversations on current affairs, politics, injustice. She sure would get into some heated bantering with her beloved sisters. I remember my mom saying "Ruthy I'm hanging up now, I just can't take anymore" Two days later they'd be back at it. Hmmm is this genetic?
Many good memories. One in particular. Her laugh.

I am so sad to hear of Ruth's passing. She was always so greatful for the care and attention I gave her while residing @ Catdinal Ridge. Her shower time was so enlighting . We had so many great talks about her life and Family, and yes Jim how you kept taking her clothes because the ones she was left with didn't fit to her satisfaction Lol even tho she had a pretty good appetite for such a lil lady. R I P Ruth you are now a special Angel
