Randy was a true friend and fellow Elmhurst College student. During four (4) years on campus we share life, friendship, and hopes for the future. He succeeded in enriching the lives of his students for many years and more importantly has left the legacy of a wonderful family. Our concern to Polly and family.

Dear Polly and family,
We are so very sorry to learn of Randy's passing, but know that he is at peace and resting in our Savior's arms. We so enjoyed the many Gathering meetings of our St. Paul group with you two as part of that interesting, caring group. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. We are grateful for all the lives that Randy touched through his years of teaching. God's Blessings go with Randy and with you.

I am very sorry to hear about my former Prospect High School colleague's passing... Randy shared with me his love of being on the road, as well as his commitment to both his own kids as well as his students. I still recall his gentle voice sharing with me his and Polly's commitment to education, advice that I followed with my own family. Thank you Randy and Polly.

Polly, I am so truly sorry for your loss. It must be so bittersweet knowing he is no longer suffering from this terrible illness yet at the same time, not in your presence. I remember "K" as a tall, strong and caring presence- we was an amazing teacher and coach- debate and life. His presence was larger than life, even without him saying a word. I am so very lucky to have known him and to have been mentored by him- I will carry those memories forever.
