Mrs. Weikel (as she was when I knew her) was a graceful, bright and sweet woman who I always remember laughing. I am so sorry to hear of her passing and send hugs and love to Mari, Barb, Jim and my dear friend Laurie.

So very sorry to hear of Jane Ellen's passing. She was my first cousin. I had called her maybe a year ago and enjoyed speaking with her.

My father, Robert I. Blahnik, was Arnold's older brother. We moved to Atlanta in 1937
and lost touch over the years with our Oshkosh and Wisconsin family. I remember Uncle Arnie and Aunt Marie quite well.

I believe myself , my brother Jim and cousin Mary Jane Cudlip Laramy are the only remaining cousins of our generation.

Best wishes to you all.

My Heartfelt sympathies on the passing of your Mom, I enjoyed visiting her these past years when she moved to Sturgeon Bay, she was full of life and I enjoyed seeing her. I had just seen her the previous Monday and took her into the diningroom, she loved attending church and being apart of activities, she had also been enjoying the Café Joy at our Sturgeon Bay United Methodist church. She spoke of her entire family and grandchildren with joy and love.

Jane became my friend through Algoma Library Friends. She was our president for many years and loved being our spokesperson. She was generous with her kindness and love.
She always spoke of her family with pride and love. She will be remembered and missed by many. Rest in peace, Jane.
