Cora, Cora, Cora. I was wondering why I haven't seen you at the Y. I didn"t know you were sick. I am so sorry. My prayers are with your family.

I wanted to thank all of you who have called and those of you who have left messages here as well. We appreciate the kind thoughts and comments. It's nice to hear from so many of Cora's friends, and it's nice to know she touched so many people's lives in a positive way. With sincere thanks from our family,

Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you. I knew Cora when she was at Herman and I was at Oakfield. She is such a wonderful lady with a great heart. May the good memories keep you during these very difficult times.

I am so sad to hear the news of Cora's passing. Cora hired me as a full time music teacher for the Adams Friendship Schools back in 1982. I didn't know it at the time, but my husband and I would end up making AF our home and raising our 2 boys for the next 34 years there until we recently retired. Cora was always very supportive of me, my family and my musical programs. I enjoyed stopping in to her office and chatting about many things, not only school related. My mom ( who also has passed ), Cora and I took swim exercise classes together at the community pool in Adams, back in the 80's. Since Cora left AF, she and I kept in touch every Christmas through cards and also exchanged postcards from our various travels. I just spent an afternoon with her this past Feb. (actually the day before her birthday ), when she came into Adams for a visit with a number of people. She showed us her beautiful jewelry and talked about her shop. I thought she looked great. I am so sorry for your loss. It has taken me aback, because I just saw her and she looked so happy and healthy. Please know she made a difference in my life. I will miss her even though we didn't see each other. She was a pen pal and it makes me sad that I won't hear from her again. With deepest sympathy, Nina and Dave Zelenski

I didn't know Cora but I'm sorry for your loss. May you gain comfort as you pour out your heart in prayer to God, who's near the brokenhearted. Psalm 34:18
