Really to sorry hear about Bruce's passing. I wish I could be there with my brother Knights of Columbus to honor his life. Please know today on the capitol steps in Bismarck, North Dakota - I will dedicate my prayers for Bruce and his family during the National Day of Prayer event!

I can remember it like yesterday when Bruce not only cut my hair but my three sons (Michael, August, Douglas) - I am sure they will be sad to hear about his passing when I let them know - but I am sure they will also smile knowing how kind and funny Bruce was each time we came to the barber shop!

Bruce and Adrienne were the first people I met when I came home to Sturgeon Bay with Nick for the first time. Bruce gave me a nice firm handshake and a smile and said welcome to the family. Wasn't sure which way it was going to go, but they made me feel welcomed and a part of the family right away. From that point forward, I considered them part of mu family as well. I know Nick misses to tremendously and I miss too...I also feel the sadness and burden Nick feels as well. Know you were loved greatly. Enjoy the peace moving forward. Love, Chris

Dear Adie & family,
Our deepest sympathy to all of you! Brucie was such a special guy, he always had a smile on his face and could tell stories like no other. His friendship with our Pa was so wonderful. They had a good time whenever they were together. Pa always looked forward to his visits and appreciated all the "clips" he gave him! There are so many special memories we will cherish. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time. Thanks for the memories Brucie, you will be missed!

My deepest sympathy and prayers are with all of Bruce and Addie's family members and close friends at this very difficult time. We were in the same high school class at Sturgeon Bay, and I have many good memories of those years as well as more recent ones at our class reunions where Bruce was in charge for many years! You will definitely be missed by many, Bruce!!!

For 1/2 their lives I enjoyed a front row seat. No one had more fun than we did as members of the Early Times gang. I witnessed an amazing marriage, listened to BRUCE tell stories...he could not repeat them too often for me! My father was one of many he visited in nursing homes...where folks looked forward to his visits. I recall ADIE saying, "For $5 BRUCE will give you a 50 cent hair cut and $4.50 worth of ;?'/&@!" A memorable life...

Linda, I'm so sorry to hear about your dad's passing. This must be so difficult for you with so much happening so quickly. Take heart in knowing that you were there for him to the end. It's so hard losing a parent. You have mine and Pete's sincerely sympathy. Take care.
