Carla and Ellsworth: Deepest condolences on the loss of Brian; my own family matters preclude me from personally expressing my sympathy today as my only grandchild, age 6, just arrived from my son and his wife's home in Copenhagen this week for a short visit. Nonetheless my heart and thoughts are with you today. The video tribute of Brian was such a good memory - keep those good memories of Brian in your thoughts and heart. Peace be with you. Mark

Carla and Ellsworth, I was so sorry to hear of Brian's death. Any death is sad, but it is especially difficult to be preceded in death by a child, no matter what age. I saw how my sister's death affected both of my parents. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Carla and Ellsworth,

I'm so sorry for your loss. I wish I could find better words. I'm happy I got to meet Brian and spend some time with him when we came to visit. I wish I could be there with you during this time. I'm glad Clay was able to come out for a bit. You have been and will be in my thoughts.

Love,

Michelle

I'm greatly saddened to hear of Brian passing. I was fortunate to play with Brian in a band during the early 80's. He was an excellent musician and person. May he rest in God's arms and enjoy his reward. God bless his family and friends.

Dear Carla,
We are saddened by the news of Brian's death. It is not the way the universe should operate, the death of your only child before your own.
Our thoughts are with you at this tender time. As you face the weeks ahead with adjustments and grieving, we wish you peace and comfort. With loving thoughts,
Phil and Sharon

Dear Carla,

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know the heartbreak you suffer all to well. After loosing my dearest Alaya not a day goes by that she is not in my thoughts and always in my heart. Your son will always be a beacon of light in your everyday life. Memories of him will put smiles on your face and the only tears will be of not being able to hug him! As a mother I know the sorrow and pain of loosing a child but I know my life would never have been complete without Alaya in it. You had so many wonderful years together and so many more to remember. This will be a difficult holiday for you, if you ever need someone to talk to I am always here. Take care Carla, my sincerest condolences.

Dear Carla and Ellsworth,
I was so sorry to hear of your loss. Your friends here at the Y share in your sorrow and offer our sympathy during this difficult time. While I did not know Brian personally, I can see that he was a great man, as I would have expected. No words can make this time easier, but I hope that good memories and the support of family and friends will. I think of you both and wish you peace and love.

In sympathy,
Sherri

To all of Brian's family and friends,

I am so sorry for your loss. Brian was such a smart, fun and genuinely cool guy. I consider myself lucky to have known Brian and I look back with great fondness on the time I spent with him (which was a lot!) in high school and in our college years. Best football player I ever knew. Not a bad guitarist either!

Although he and I did not talk much after our college years, the times we were able to, it was like no time had passed at all.

I hope to see you in Sturgeon Bay for the memorial and please know that me and the rest of the Bergan Trojans will always remember Brian.

With all my sympathies,

Bob Coletta
