Steven Halvor Squier

Steven Halvor Squier, 57, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away Monday, January 25, 2016, at his home.

He was born December 13, 1958, in Sturgeon Bay, the son of the late Victor Carroll and Hazel (Stokke) Squier. Steven was a graduate of Sturgeon Bay High School. He worked as an assistant pressman for the Door County Advocate for many years and more recently was employed at Evenson Laundry.

Steven had a vast knowledge of sports and liked talking and sharing trivia with others. He enjoyed hanging out with friends, bowling, and shooting darts.

Steven is survived by his cousins, David (special friend, Bonnie) Pankratz, Susan (Robert) Herland, Diane (Jack) Martin, Marilyn Mars, Dan Squier, Kathy Brewer, and James Squier; and many friends and coworkers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Hazel Squier. 

Friends are welcome to gather in remembrance of Steven at Butch’s Bar in Sturgeon Bay on Saturday, February 13, 2016, at 3:00 p.m.

A memorial service may be held at future date.
