Welcome to the memorial page for

Sonja Jean (nee Pierzchalski) Schuster

October 26, 1953 ~ April 30, 2016 (age 62) 62 Years Old

Sonja Jean Schuster

Sonja Jean Schuster, 62, of Door County passed away at home Saturday, April 30th, 2016 following a two-year illness. Sonja and her husband William shared their journey together on earth for forty-six years. Sonja and William loved, played and tasted life together with intensity and shared the concern that "Decadence is Largely Underrated".

"Success"

– Ralph Waldo Emerson

"To laugh often and much;

To win respect of intelligent people and the affection of children;

To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends;

To appreciate beauty, find the best in others;

To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition;

To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.

This is to have succeeded."

By this measure we declare that Sonja Jean Schuster succeeded in her life, and in the lives around her, by making our world a slightly better place.

Friends are welcome to join Sonja's family for a committal service held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Bayside Cemetery located at 3890 Bay Shore Drive in Sturgeon Bay, WI led by Rev. Phil Sweet.
