Dear Chris and Shanna,
I am so very shocked and saddened to see Lee's obit. You are in my thoughts and prayers and may happy memories give you peace and comfort.
Lee was a wonderful man and cherish all the shared laughs from many years ago. Life a lot of times takes over and we lose contact with people and I am sad that was the case with us.

I'm sorry for your loss.. But know that God will "surround and comfort you" at this sad time. Look forward to seeing your loved one again in the resurrection. Psalm 71:21.

My deepest sympathies to you and your family Chris. Lee (and Steve) and I played together in the band in high school and college. We all loved music. We had so much fun and so many laughs. Lee always had a ready smile and a kind word. Just such a genuinely nice person. The world will miss his smile but heaven is a little brighter now.

Chris, you have my sympathies. Knowing you as well as my classmate, Lee, it comes as a shock. Not only was he my classmate, but also my roommate at college. We often went out to eat together and our mothers were both very close to each other. Tony and Lois worked in the bank together and would always talk for long hours on the phone. It is a small world. I remember Lee in many ways, from the Sturgeon Bay Parks Director to mowing the lawn next door to my place. He sure was fast and efficient on his riding lawnmower!

I share in your loss and it makes all of us realize how fragile life really is. Hopefully you can heal in the days ahead.

With sympathy,

Gary K. Soule

Chris and Shana,
I'm very sorry we won't be able to make it to see you, but huge hug your way. I always appreciated reading your updates on Lee. My mind could not fathom the ups and downs you went through together over this tremendous amt of time. But I never saw you in a picture or in person without a smile and standing strong, ever. I'm sure you had many days and hours of other whirlwind of emotions. Hurt, pain, questions and days to just cry. But after this long hard battle, God made the ultimate decision to bring Lee to peace. In these difficult days ahead, I pray for peace for you and Shana. Our thoughts are with you!
