Pauline B. Peterson, 67 years, of Egg Harbor, passed away at the Jack and Engrid Meng Residence - Unity Hospice in De Pere on Tuesday evening October 15, 2024.
She was born on April 13, 1957, to the late George and Bessie (Wilson) Peterson in Sturgeon Bay. She was a 1975 graduate of Gibraltar High School.
On December 18, 1982, she married Paul John Peterson in Sturtevant. He preceded her in death on October 13, 2023.
Pauline was a housekeeper for Door County Memorial Hospital. She also managed the Mueller Brothers gas station in Egg Harbor for several years.
Pauline was an active member and dedicated volunteer of Calvary United Methodist Church in Egg Harbor. You could see her cleaning, organizing, greeting parishioners and guests, basically everything except for conducting sermons on Sunday's. She loved her church.
Pauline had multiple battles with cancer for over 20 years. She was an advocate for cancer patients and cancer survivors. She enjoyed her meetings with "The Lemonade Club" for cancer patients, cancer survivors, and family and friends, through Neighbor-to-Neighbor.
Pauline loved Bingo. She would find every opportunity she could to play. Whether it was at Oneida Casino, local bingo events, or even on the radio. She enjoyed live music events. Most of all, she loved her family.
Surviving family members include her sons, Jeremy (Taylor) Dart of Green Bay and their daughter, Lizzie, and Peter Peterson of Egg Harbor; daughter, Penni (Paul) Lewis of Las Vegas and their son, Apollo; brothers, Stanley (Darlene) Peterson, Allan Peterson, and Bill Peterson; sisters-in-law Linda (Dave) Hoffman, and Kristy (Howard) Richardson. She is further survived by extended family and many friends.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Paul; parents, George and Bessie (Wilson) Peterson; sisters, Ethel, Mary, Elaine and Marion; and brothers, Don, Stanton, and Clarence.
Services to honor Pauline's memory will be held at 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Calvary United Methodist Church in Egg Harbor, with Rev. Frank Maxwell officiating. Friends and family may call at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11:30 a.m.
Memorials can be given in her memory to Calvary United Methodist Church; Door CANcer; and Neighbor to Neighbor.
