Paulette “Beetle” Lindsey Benites, 18 years old, died suddenly November 18, 2023, in an automobile accident in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Beetle was born August 15, 2005, in Green Bay, Wisconsin. At the age of four, Beetle moved permanently with Beetle’s father, Wilder, and they moved to California. Beetle attended Franklin and Burlingame Intermediate School, and Compass High School all in San Mateo County, CA. In 2020, Beetle returned to Wisconsin and attended Sturgeon Bay High School concurrently with Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) High School program in Wisconsin, graduating in 2022. Presently, Beetle was a student at University of Wisconsin, Green Bay, pursuing a bachelor’s in psychology with the goal of becoming a psychologist.
Beetle was a very kind and thoughtful person, always willing to help those in need. For instance, while in San Mateo County California, Beetle prepared and distributed free meals to those in need and helped to provide free English and Citizenship classes at local libraries. Also, Beetle was wise beyond years and very supportive to people struggling with mental and emotional health issues. Beetle loved bunnies, kittens, and especially the family dog, Cocoa. Beetle’s talent for singing led to participation in Our Lady of Angels Church choir, in Burlingame, CA, and trying out for America’s Got Talent a few years ago.
Surviving family include Beetle’s father, Wilder Benites-Arcibia; mother; siblings; stepparent; grandmother; special uncles and aunts; and many friends and family members in the U. S., Peru, and Spain.
The Benites and Arcibia family would like to extend a special thank you to everyone who has shown their love and support during this difficult time.
