Nicholas Edward Fairweather, 51, of Madison, WI, passed away on January 5, 2026 in Madison.
He was born April 28, 1974, in Green Bay, WI son of Charles Fairweather and Judith Weber. Nick attended Sturgeon Bay High School and graduated with the class of 1992. In 1996, he graduated from Lawrence University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology. Nick was an active member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity during his time at Lawrence, serving as the chapter president. He continued his education at Case Western Reserve University where he earned his Juris Doctor Degree.
Nick worked for Cullen, Weston, Pines, Bach, LLP for several years before joining Hawks Quindel, S.C as an Employment Attorney, representing Wisconsin employees, labor unions and consumers.
Nick enjoyed running, participating in marathons, and reading. He loved his children and was passionate about their endeavors. Nick was also a music lover and connected with his children through his love of music.
Nick will be missed by his mother, Judy Weber; daughter, Anna Fairweather; son, Charles Fairweather; brothers, Ben (Tina) Fairweather and Andrew (Tracy) Small; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Fairweather.
Nick's life will be honored with a Memorial Mass held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 110 N 5th Ave, Sturgeon Bay, with Fr. Matthew Rappl officiating. Friends and family will gather at the church for visitation from 9:00-10:45 a.m.
