Mia Friedrichs Obituary

With loving anticipation, we awaited the arrival of our new addition to our family, Mia Mae Friedrichs, on November 21, 2022, but due to complications during her birth she passed the same day in Sturgeon Bay.

We are devastated with our loss.  The hopes and dreams of adding a little girl to our family is gone, and now we deal with our seemingly unhealing grief.   Our faith gives us that hope that we will see her when we all get to heaven.   We appreciate all our family and friends who have supported us through these past few days.

Our family includes parents, Mikayla Weckler and Allen Friedrichs; sisters, Madelyn and Bella Friedrichs; grandparents, Tom Weckler and Sheree Bohardt; grandparents, Cynthia Thompson and Allen Friedrichs; great-grandma, Rosemary Weckler; many other dear family and friends.

As we lay her to rest, we will not forget her and the nine months she was part of our lives.

Thank you to the nursing staff at Door County Medical Center for caring for all of us during this difficult time and the chaplain service for baptizing her at birth.

A private family service will be held.

Huehns Funeral Home is assisting the family. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with her family through her tribute page at www.huehnsfuneralhome.com.
