Marion L. Ridderikhoff

     Marion L. Ridderikhoff, 93, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020.

     She was born August 11, 1927 in Sturgeon Bay, the daughter of the late Theodore and Florence (Miller) Konitzer. Life became challenging to say the least at age 12 when Marion finished the 7th grade and left school to help assist with raising her siblings at home as her mother had passed away in 1939. On August 6, 1949, she married Peter Ridderikhoff. She was always a mom who enjoyed cooking and in more recent years, watching the food network.

     Surviving family include her two children, Dyan (Don) Sleger of Sturgeon Bay, and Kenneth (Sara) Ridderikhoff of Sturgeon Bay; four grandchildren, Kimberly Sleger Milbourn, Zachary Sleger, Damian Sleger, and Bethany Ridderikhoff Werkheiser; four great-grandchildren, Austin Sleger, Riley Sleger, Isabella Sleger, and Kamryn Sleger.

     Preceding her in death were her parents, Theodore and Florence Konitzer; husband, Peter; siblings, Emil, Helen, Ruth Match, Raymond, Donald, Lester, Milton, and Richard.

     There will be no public service. Burial will be next to her husband, Peter, in Bayside Cemetery.
