Mandy Lynn Hagman, 47, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away November 17, 2022 after a bicycle accident in Barcelona, Spain.
She was born July 29, 1975 in Milwaukee to George C. and Carol Ann (Williamson) Weis. Mandy graduated from Sevastopol High School with the class of 1993. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Carroll College in Waukesha in 1998 and worked as a designer at Associated Bank for 21 years. On September 14, 2002, she was united in marriage to Leif Conrad Hagman at Crossroads at Big Creek in Sturgeon Bay by Rev. Phillips Sweet.
Mandy was an accomplished athlete, starting in high school and continued into adulthood including basketball, volleyball, and cycling. Mandy loved to be outdoors. She was a competitive athlete but also incredibly kind and willing to mentor and help her teammates and friends. Mandy was a talented artist professionally and personally. Her love of art and architecture can be seen in many of her drawings. She could make her imagination come alive in many art forms: painting, drawing, graphic design, block printing. Her love of art was equal to her love of sports and only exceeded by her love of family. She had extensive, eclectic taste in music – she never limited herself to certain genres. She was a big fan of the magic of Christmas festivities.
Mandy will be missed by her husband; parents; brothers, Troy (Cheri) of Genesee, WI [and their child, Sara], John (Marianne) of Waukesha, WI [and their children, Ashton, Ryan, and Sydney], and Ben (Eloise) of San Antonio, TX [and their children, Isabel and Matthew]; siblings-in-law, Dee (Eric) Paulsen [and their children, Annika (Bobby) and Nels (Katherine)], Cathy (Dave) Gibbons [and their children, Ali (Nick) and Mike (Dayna)], Eric (Jennifer) Hagman [and their children, Karl and Anna] and Carin Hagman [and her child, Cyiah]; and other family and friends.
Mandy’s family is comforted by remembering the joys of a life well-lived.
Her life will be honored with memorial service held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Huehns Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay with Rev. Phillips Sweet officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
