Leonard “Lenny” John Retlick, age 76 of the Town of Egg Harbor, passed from our loving arms to God's loving arms Wednesday, September 13, 2023, with his family by his side.
He was born on July 22, 1947, to the late George and Verna (Lamoine) Retlick in Appleton, Wisconsin. Lenny was united in marriage to Mary Patricia Seaver on February 25, 1978, in Appleton, Wisconsin. The couple was blessed with three sons, Daniel, David, and Michael.
Lenny worked at Gilbert Paper Mill in Menasha for 35 years before retiring in 2016. He enjoyed building and remodeling. He was known as a comedian, sharing his jokes with his family and friends. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting deer and moose. He enjoyed his quiet time in the woods and being with friends and family.
Lenny is survived by his wife, Mary Pat, three sons, Daniel Retlick (significant other, Kristy Warber) of Green Bay, David Retlick (significant other, Mimi Gentz) of Waunakee, and Micheal Retlick (wife, Amy Retlick) of Appleton; three grandchildren, Landyn, Kelley, and Finley; two siblings, Nancy (Harold) DuCane, and Jean (Patrick) Bolen. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Verna and his twin brother George Jr.
Goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean we'll miss you, until we meet again.
A Memorial Mass will be held for Lenny, on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. at Stella Maris Parish – Jacksonport site with Fr. Thomas Farrell officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
