Kim D.B. Wilde, 68, of Town of Nasewaupee, was called to his eternal home in heaven Tuesday evening, October 26, 2021 while at home with his wife, Marcia at his side.
Kim was born of Welsh descent on January 16, 1953 in Oak Park, Illinois the son of the late Haydn and Catherine (Carroll) Wilde. Following high school, he sailed with the Merchant Marines out of Ohio. Kim was a master of many talents and trades. He was a business owner, carpenter, coffee barista, historical restoration specialist, certified electrician and salvage hauler to name a few. In 1970, he married the true love of his life, Marcia Ann Weidenfeld. Together they operated various businesses in Illinois and Door County, WI.
He was a tough, independent businessman, a committed soldier of Christ always wanting to brighten your day and give you the hope of salvation that was in Jesus Christ. He was a shining light to those at the cancer clinic where he cared about others' well-being more than himself. He was blessed with nine years after being diagnosed with bone cancer in 2012.
Surviving family and friends include, his loving wife, Marcia; two sons, Nathanael and Elijah.
A special thanks to all of Kim's prayer partners, Unity Hospice and our neighbor and dear friend, Mike Brown, all of whom showed love and concern for us during this difficult time.
