Kenneth “Ken” Charles Joly

     Kenneth “Ken” Charles Joly, age 81 of the Town of Sevastopol, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at Scandia Village.

     He was born on September 25, 1942, to the late Harold and Mildred (Kotill) Joly at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Green Bay.

     Ken attended Green Bay West High School. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1960-1963.

     On June 25, 1966, Ken was united in marriage to Rita Mae Daubner at St. Rosalia Catholic Church (currently Stella Maris Parish – Sister Bay Site). The couple was blessed with 58 years of marriage.

     Ken enjoyed art and music. He also enjoyed being in nature, gardening, and tending to his flower beds. He loved watching the Brewers and Packers. Most of all, Ken loved his family.

     Ken is survived by his wife, Rita; children Pam (Bob) Tank, Paula (Scott) Talmadge, Mike (Michelle) Joly, Penny (Ty) Tallakson, and Patty (Robert) Cram; grandchildren, Stephanie, Joshua, Anna, Kirsten, Trevin, Lexie, Heidi, Elsa, and Jack; nine great grandchildren; and brother, Robert Joly. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

     He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Thomas Joly and Ronald Joly.

     The Joly family would like to thank the staff at Scandia Village and Dr. Rory Johnson for their exceptional care of Ken.

     A memorial service will be held for Ken at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Huehns Funeral Home (1414 Michigan Street, Sturgeon Bay) with Deacon Edward Winter officiating. Military rites will be conducted by Weber-Tess AMVETS Post 51. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
