Kenneth Eugene Kehoe, 60, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away in the comfort of his home, December 2, 2023.
He was born February 9, 1963 in Cape May Court House, NJ, the son of Kenneth Eugene Kotowske and Sandra Lee (Phillips) Hillmer. Ken attended Sturgeon Bay High School and graduated with the class of 1981. He went on to study for a brief time at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
Ken worked various jobs throughout his life.
Those who knew him knew what a gifted musician he was. Ken played the cornet in high school and then guitar. In high school he also enjoyed swimming and performing in school musicals. He was the lead singer in his band, the "Noise Mechanics", in Milwaukee. Ken was also a skilled painter. He had a heart of gold, and those close to him, knew that his soul "longed to be somewhere else." All Ken wanted was to fit in.
He is survived by his family: mother, Sandy of Sturgeon Bay; brothers, John (Brooke) Kehoe of Rockport, ME and David (Jolene Pagel) Cumber of the Town of Sturgeon Bay; nephews, Aedan Kehoe and Alexander "Xander" Cumber; aunt and uncle, Linda Duffy of Lake Havasu, AZ and Delford Phillips of Sturgeon Bay; cousins, Lori (Jeff) Hoogland of Catawba, WI and Christopher Phillips of Sturgeon Bay, WI; and other relatives.
Ken was preceded in death by his father; and other relatives.
No public services are scheduled to be held.
