John Charles Deeter

     John Charles Deeter, 61, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, July 20, 2022.

     He was born July 9, 1961 in Sturgeon Bay, son of Barbara Jean (Graf). John worked as a general contractor for all of his working career. He enjoyed baseball and devoted everything to his children, who he loved dearly.

     John will be missed by his parents, Ralph and Barbara Deeter; children, Jenna and Rayvan; granddaughters, Rhea and Lilly; siblings, Joy (Dan) Klas, Scott (Colleen) Deeter, Deanna (Chris) Windnagle, Theresa (Louis Lautenbach) Feeney; stepdaughter, Jessica; and nieces and nephews.

     He was preceded in death by his infant twin sisters, Hope and Faith Deeter; maternal grandparents, Fritz and Evelyn Graf; and paternal grandparents, Ralph and Ula Deeter.

     A prayer service will be held at Huehns Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. He will be laid to rest Wednesday morning at Bayside Cemetery.

     Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday evening from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m..
