Joan Ellen Gessert, age 82, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away on November 24, 2025, at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay.

She was born on July 29, 1943, to the late Paul and Catherine (Purcell) Baker.

Joan was united in marriage to David Gessert and was married for 53 years. David preceded her in death on November 24, 2024.

In keeping with Joan’s wishes there will be no formal services.
