Jeffrey Donald Johnson

Jeffrey Donald Johnson, 77, of Egg Harbor, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.

He was born May 26, 1947 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Donald Joseph and Mary Lenore (Younglove) Johnson. After graduating from St. Joseph Catholic Academy in Kenosha, he attended St. Norbert College in De Pere, where he studied business. Jeff enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country until his honorable discharge. He was a Past Grand Commander of the Military Order of the Cootie. Jeff worked in the photography industry for over 30 years and was most recently the owner and operator of Johnson Photo in Fish Creek until his retirement in 1998. Jeff and Ruth Lynn Leaveck were married on May 7, 1988 in Egg Harbor. He enjoyed watching the Packers, listening to Blues music, and spending time outdoors. Jeff’s church was found in the woods, and he had a passion for golfing.

Jeff will be remembered by his loving wife, Ruth of Egg Harbor; daughters, Jessica (Daniel) Bauer of Marshfield, Heather (Nicholus) Shaffer of Trevor, and Amber Yungwirth of Sturgeon Bay; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Gregory (Kathy) Johnson of Kenosha; and sister, Sara (Paul) Tutskey of De Pere.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Mary Johnson.

Jeff will be laid to rest during a graveside ceremony on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Egg Harbor Town Cemetery. Full military honors will be performed.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Jeff’s name to Unity Hospice or Tunnels to Towers.
