Jeanne (Jay) Vidal Hellyer at the age of 89 passed away peacefully on April 15th, 2025, at Serenity Springs at Scandia Village in Sister Bay, Wisconsin. Jay was a devoted wife to Corky and loving Mother of daughter, Brus Hellyer Osborne, and son, Bob Hellyer.
Jay was born on August 18th, 1935, in Denver Colorado. She graduated from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. Northwestern is where she met Walter “Corky” Hellyer and they began their life together.

Jay and Corky lived in Door County for the past 45 years. They had wonderful friends and loved their community.
Brus and Bob would like to thank and acknowledge Jay and Corky’s caretaker, Rachael Van Valkenberg for her outstanding service and loving care.
Jay has been interned beside her husband at the Church of the Atonement in Fish Creek Wisconsin.
