Janet Ann Gaethke, age 79 of Brussels, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023, in Green Bay.
She was born on April 23, 1944, to the late Emil and Mildred Josephine (Jepsen) Fictum in Sturgeon Bay. Janet enjoyed reading, watching TV and playing cards, especially Cribbage, Garbage and Sheepshead.
Janet is survived by her children, James (Dianne) Grovogel, Debra Rhoades, Jennifer (Todd) Wagner; grandchildren, Zachary (Sierra) Grovogel, Stephanie (Reese) Ellison, Trevor Grovogel, Braydon Gustafson, Michael (Amanda) Wagner, Mathew Wagner, Lucas Wagner; six great grandchildren; and sisters, Jeanne Moreno and Sharon (John) Kellner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Mildred Fictum; brothers, Gary Fictum and James (Carol) Longley; sister, Susan Ricco; brother-in-law, Herman Moreno; and her three husbands, James Grovogel, Sr., Edmund Gaethke and Victor Delarwelle.
A graveside service will be held for Janet on Monday, June 26, 2023, at 11:00 am at Blossomberg Cemetery in Peninsula State Park, 4010 Mengelberg, Fish Creek, 54212 with Rev. Joel Sauer officiating.
