James "Jim" Price Eberle passed away on June 9, 2026. Jim was born August 3, 1957 in Cincinnati, Ohio and was the son of the late Walter Frank Eberle Jr and his wife, Lillian. Raised in Indian Hill, he graduated from Indian Hill High School and attended Georgetown College in Kentucky.
Jim had a lifelong love for Georgetown, where he met many of his closest friends, including several fraternity brothers from Phi Kappa Tau. Most importantly, Georgetown was where he met the love of his life, his wife, Beth.
Together, Jim and Beth enjoyed over 45 years of marriage while living in Madeira and raising their two sons. Family was the centerpiece of Jim's life. He enjoyed supporting his sons in their school and athletic events and was an active member of Armstrong Chapel United Methodist Church.
Professionally, Jim spent most of his career working at his family's institutional food service distributorship, the C. Eberle Sons Company. He later also worked for Queensgate Food Service and Adrian Pharmacy until his retirement.
A life-long Cincinnati sports fan, Jim had a special passion for the Bengals and University of Kentucky basketball. Jim took his boys to countless games and frequently combined his love of sports with his love of grilling. A perfect weekend was cooking on his charcoal grill while watching a game with his family.
After retirement, Jim became a reluctant but frequent traveler. His favorite trips were with Beth and their lifelong friends, Craig and Mary Haupt. These trips took the couples to Scotland, France, Alaksa, Cape Cod, and a cruise on the Snake and Columbia Rivers.
Jim is survived by his wife, Beth; along with their two sons, Jay (Alison) Eberle of Gettysburg, and Chris (Stephanie) Eberle of Cincinnati. Not content to be just a grandfather, Jim was known by the moniker of "chief" to his six grandchildren, Lilly, Ben, Jake, Josie, Emmie, and Maggie. He is also survived by his siblings, Chip (Shari) Eberle, and Christine (Alan) Hollatz, along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 9, 2026 at Armstrong Chapel United Methodist Church, 5125 Drake Road, Indian Hill, Ohio 45243.
