James Schneider Obituary

     James L. Schneider, 75, of Algoma, passed away Monday, June 1, 2020 at Bellin Hospital ER in Green Bay.

     He was born July 12, 1944 in Algoma, the son of the late Raymond and Mabel (Berthold) Schneider. Jimmy worked for Vollrath Company for a few years before working at Mirro in Two Rivers for 39 years. On July 11, 1964, he married Arlene A. Petry at St. Odile Catholic Church in Thiry Daems, in the Town of Red River.

     Jimmy was a member of Algoma United Methodist Church. In younger years, Jimmy enjoyed his cabin with Arlene at Middle Inlet along with snowmobiling together. More recently he was an important part of day-to-day operations at Master Care Cleaning in Sturgeon Bay with his niece and nephew, Theresa and Steven Selvick, as their mechanic for many years.

     Jimmy came from a large family. He will missed by his dear wife, Arlene; one brother, Dennis (Joanne) Schneider; two sisters, Louise Pionke, and Linda (Lee “Swede”) Erickson; and many nieces and nephews.

     Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Mabel Schneider; siblings, Elizabeth Paape, Robert Schneider, Ronald Schneider, Bernice Krueger, Mark Schneider, Pat Schneider, Patty Schneider, and Shirley Waterstreet.

     Services that were initially scheduled for the public, will now be private to family. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
