Dolores "Dee" Kay Larson

     Comforted by the loving presence of her family earlier in the day, Dolores “Dee” Larson, 80, of Sturgeon Bay, WI, died peacefully Wednesday evening June 2, 2022 at Cherry Cove Assisted Living in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.

     Dee was born July 11, 1941 in Neosho, Missouri to Leo Everett Smally and Mildred Marie Kruise. 

     She will be missed by her two daughters, Debbie and Diana; as well as three grandchildren, Jamie, Gary and Devon; four great-grandchildren, Jett, Adeline, Evelyn, and Delilah; along with three step-grandchildren; and twelve step-great-grandchildren.

     “Our family would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the staff of Cherry Cove Assisted Living for the wonderful, compassionate care you gave, especially Lexi, Becky, and Anna.  You treated her like family.  Special thanks also go to the Asera Care Hospice staff, especially Liza and Holly."

     No public services are scheduled to be held. Huehns Funeral Home, Inc. & Door County Crematory LLC in Sturgeon Bay, WI are caring for Dee and her family.

     Memorials may be given in (Dolores') name for the ASPCA.
