Dennis Raymond Delsart, 70, of Egg Harbor, passed away late Monday, February 24, 2025, Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay following a diagnosis of cancer.
He was born, January 30, 1955, in Sturgeon Bay, to Raymond and Ellen Alice (Rex) Delsart. Dennis graduated from Sevastopol High School and worked as an electrician up until three years ago at Bay Shipbuilding (Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding).
He was passionate about antique farm tractors and equipment where he was a collector. Dennis loved driving tractors, especially Farmall tractors. He attended many steam shows and auctions. Dennis was an active member of the Valmy Thresheree and was often found welcoming people at the gate for their annual event in the Town of Sevastopol.
He will be missed by his wife, Nancy; four children, Autumn (Michael) Stevenson of Northwood, OH, Nathan (Amber) Delsart of Sturgeon Bay, Meghan (Michael Schmidt) Delsart of Sturgeon Bay, Alyssa (Tyler Meverden) Delsart of Green Bay; 12 siblings, Dianne (Gregory) Bojko, Carol Grimstad, Sally Kostka, Nancy (special friend, Thomas Tice) Delsart, Roger Delsart, Patti (special friend, Robert Florence) Delsart, Randall Delsart, Jill (Mark) Cote, Sharon Moellendorf, Todd (Deng ZiFeng) Delsart, Joan Delsart, and Tammy (Manjit) Sahota; aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews; grandchildren; other relatives; and friends.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; four siblings, Jeff, Glen, and twin sisters, Tina and Tracey Delsart; four brothers-in-law, Glen Eugene Grimstad, Jr., Dr. J. G. Moellendorf, and William Kostka; niece, Kandy Kostka; and other relatives.
His life will be honored with a funeral service held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Huehns Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay with Pastor Gary Scharrig officiating. Dennis will be laid to rest Friday, March 7, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Juddville.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service.
