Dawn Belle Dietrich, 80 years, of Nasewaupee, was called home to heaven Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at home.
She was born July 13, 1945 in Sturgeon Bay the daughter of the late Oscar and Grace (LaViolette) Struck. Dawn graduated from Southern Door High School in 1963. She was a nanny for Dr. Outerhouven, and worked at Milwaukee Shoe Co., Hatco, Paulie Cheese, Inc., and CNS in Sturgeon Bay.
On July 2, 1965 she married Orville Alfred Dietrich at St. Peters Ev. Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on July 4, 2007.
Dawn was a member of Salem Ev. Lutheran Church. She loved music, listening to old country and blue grass, her cats, taking walks in the woods enjoying her love of wildlife. Dawn was a feisty, determined and independent woman who loved her family and was especially fond of and supportive of her grandchildren.
Surviving family include her two children, Catherine Vogel, Sandy (Jeff) Gosser; three grandchildren, Paul Vogel of Savannah, GA, Mandy Gosser of Sturgeon Bay, Kris (Rena) Gosser of Lake Forest Park, WA; two great-grandchildren, Willow and Whitney Gosser; three sisters, Marie Heimbecher of Sturgeon Bay, Patsy Covington of Spruce Pine, NC, Mona (Ben) White of Sheboygan Falls.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Oscar and Grace Struck; three siblings, Irene Vandertie, Oscar Struck, Duane "John" Struck.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday January 6, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Salem Ev. Lutheran Church with Pastor Tod Vertz officiating. Shrine of the Good Shepherd, Nicolet Memorial Gardens will be the final resting place.
Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 Monday evening January 5, 2026 at Huehns Funeral Home and at the church Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
A devotion will be said Monday evening at 7:45 p.m. at Huehns Funeral Home.
