Clarice H. Ripp, 89, of Sevastopol, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, February 4, 2023.
She was born September 11, 1933 in Brussels, daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Miller) Neinas. Clarice graduated from Sevastopol High School with the Class of 1951. On June 28, 1952, Clarice and Raymond Jacob Ripp were united in marriage at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Institute. Together, they spent 46 years together before he preceded her in death on February 1, 1999. She enjoyed gardening and watching birds, knitting and crocheting, and cooking.
Clarice will be missed by her sons, Steven (Jane) and Gary Ripp; daughters, Sheryl Ripp, Sheila (Tim) McCormick, and Amy (Leif) Lautenbach; grandchildren, Rick, Melissa (Zachary), Allison (Anthony), Jamie (Kyle), Lance, Leah (Alex), Austin, and Sophie; great-grandchildren, Steven and Christopher; great great-grandchildren, Skylar, Lyla Ray, Lexi, and Owen; sister, Mary Herlache; brother, Donald (Elaine) Neinas; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Mary Neinas; husband, Ray Ripp; daughter, Angela Ripp; brothers, Elmer and Elton (Audrey) Neinas; sisters, Lorene (John) Moore, Gladys Neinas, and Marilyn (Norman) Voeks; brother-in-law, Carl Herlache; and several in-laws.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in honor of Clarice on Friday, February 10, 2023 at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Institute at 11:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday evening at Huehns Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the Parish Wake Service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue Friday morning at church beginning at 10:00 a.m.
