Christine Marie LaCrosse

     Christine Marie LaCrosse, 50, of the Town of Nasewaupee, quietly passed at home with her family by her side on Thursday, May 3, 2018 following a short, but courageous battle with ovarian cancer.

     She was born November 14, 1967 in Port Washington, the daughter of Charles Jerome Becker and Paulette Josephine (Wilmot) Surk. Christine’s family moved to Green Bay when she was seven, and she graduated from Green Bay Preble High School in 1987.

     Christine initially worked at Marchant’s in Brussels. She cooked at Richard’s Pub and Grill in Maplewood and was most recently a part of the team at PJ’s of Door County on Highway 57, just south of Sturgeon Bay. Christine especially enjoyed all of her coworkers and customers.

     On June 10, 2000, she was united in marriage to Scott Allen LaCrosse at St. Francis Xavier Church in Brussels. They were blessed with 18 years of marriage.

     Christine liked to go camping and being near the water. She was always up for traveling and seeing new places. Christine was an awesome cook (even though she didn’t really care much for it). Above all, she cherished spending time with family, especially Scott, and her beautiful daughter, Nicole.

     Christine will be deeply missed by her husband, Scott LaCrosse; daughter, Nicole Delveaux of the Town of Nasewaupee; father, Charles (Suzie) Becker of the Town of Nasewaupee and mother, Paulette Surk of Casco; four siblings, David Becker of Black River Falls, Cheryl Kaster of Green Bay, Debbie (Scott) Hughes of Seymour, and Dan (Jennie) Becker of Green Bay; other relatives; and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Herbert and Evelyn (Franks) Becker; and maternal grandparents, Peter and Caroline (Timmer) Wilmot.

     Christine’s life was celebrated by family with friends before she passed away.

     Memorials may be given in her honor for DOOR CANcer Inc.
