Catherine Elizabeth (Worachek) Huettl

     Catherine “Cathy” Elizabeth Huettl, 53, of Carlsville, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at her home.

     She was born February 28, 1968 in Shell Lake, Wisconsin, daughter of Richard John Worachek and Elizabeth Mary (Alsteen). Cathy graduated from Hayward High School with the Class of 1986. She worked for various restaurants in Door County. She was most recently employed at the Econo Foods Deli in Sturgeon Bay. Cathy married William R. Huettl and was blessed with two children, Elizabeth and Steven Huettl. She enjoyed volunteering at the food pantry and spending time with her beloved grandchildren.

     Cathy’s memory will live on within her daughter, Beth Huettl; grandchildren, Anthony, Aaliyah, and Adrianna Esteves; mother, Bette (Mark) Merriman; sister, Brenda Worachek; brother, Jonathan Worachek; nephews, Adam Sertich, Elijah Stroebel, and Nick Worachek; and many cousins, extended relatives, and dear friends.

     She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Worachek and son, Steven Huettl.

     A Celebration of Cathy’s life will be held at Huehns Funeral Home on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.

     Visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
