Bruce H. Dombrowski, 73 years of Sturgeon Bay, passed away at his home on Friday April 12, 2024.
He was born June 7, 1950, in Cicero, IL, the son of Bruno and Anna Mae Dombrowski. Bruce entered the United States Army early with permission of his father and served two tours of combat in Vietnam. On June 10, 1976, he married Susan Anne Milkent. They moved to Door County for Bruce’s employment at Baileys Harbor Yacht Club as chef. He has also worked for The Lodge at Leathem Smith, C&C Supper Club in Fish Creek, and Dunham’s Sporting Goods in Sturgeon Bay.
Bruce was a movie buff, accumulating a vast collection of various genres. He had a great interest in Westerns and John Wayne and Sinatra specifically.
Surviving family includes his wife, Susan “Sam” of Sturgeon Bay; stepdaughter, Kelly of San Jose, CA; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Barry (Jeannie) Dombrowski of Memphis, TN; and his sister, Bonnie of Worth, IL.
Preceding Bruce in death were his parents; and brother, Brian.
There will be no public service.
