Ann Janet Reed, 82, of Algoma, passed away on May 12, 2026 at Sycamore Lodge in Algoma.

She was born on January 13, 1944 in Oklahoma City, OK, the daughter of Thomas Hobbs and Roberta (Collier) Hobbs. Ann attended Oklahoma University and graduated with a degree in Nursing in 1965. She started her career in pediatrics, in the hospital setting, and ended it working in Hospice care, which she enjoyed the most.

She was proud to be one of Jehovah's Witnesses, a member of the Algoma congregation. Her favorite thing to talk about was her God, Jehovah and his Kingdom. She shared her hope of a paradise earth to come with anyone who would listen.

Ann is survived by her daughter, Kristen (Kelly) Bachman; son, David Wilson; granddaughter, Halle Rose Wilson; and brother, Phil Hobbs; as well as nephews and many friends in her spiritual family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Roberta Hobbs.

No services are scheduled at this time.
