Aloysius "Al" Kazenske

Aloysius “Al” Kazenske, age 97 of Fish Creek, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025.

He was born on December 27, 1928, in Auburn, IL to the late William and Minnie (Hale) Kazenske. He graduated from Auburn High School. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy. He served on the U.S.S. Bristol from 1948 – 1952.

Al was united in marriage to Doris Kirkegaard in 1952. They lived in Bensenville, IL where he became a journeyman electrician. Al and his family moved to Door County in 1972. He started his own electrical contracting business, Door Electric, and retired in 1991.

Al is survived by his son, Raymond Paul (Kathryn Ann Soukup) Kazenske of Sturgeon Bay; daughter, Katheryn Ann Kazenske of Fish Creek; six grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris and son, Jeffrey Alan Kazenske.

Graveside services will be held for Al at a later date at Blossomberg Cemetery in Peninsula State Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Sturgeon Bay Moravian Church - 323 S 5th Ave, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235.
