Allen J. Orde

Allen J. Orde, 66 years of Sturgeon Bay, passed away early Saturday morning, February 14, 2026 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.

He was born April 18, 1959 in Algoma, the son of the late Harvey and Grace (Peterson) Orde. Allen graduated from Algoma High School in 1977. He was employed for many years at Evergreen Nursery in Sturgeon Bay, and also worked at Schartner’s Farm Market in the orchards, and with the maple syrup process during spring season.

Allen enjoyed exercising at the Door County YMCA, riding his moped and e-bike around town and simply being outdoors. He was happy ice fishing with friends, and watching Packer games.

Surviving family includes his sister, Jean (Jerry) Jandrin of Sturgeon Bay; two nieces, Julie Charles, and Michelle Gilson; two nephews, Brian Charles and Freddy Charles; dear great-nieces; great-nephews; and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Harvey and Grace Orde; and stepbrother, Ronald Peterson.

Funeral services will be held at noon, Friday, February 20, 2026 at Schinderle Funeral Home in Algoma. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.

Friends may call at Schinderle Funeral Home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at noon.
