Aleksander "Sasha" R. Hill

Aleksander "Sasha" R. Hill, 23 years old, of Sturgeon Bay died unexpectedly Thursday June 5, 2025.

Sasha was the son of Leslie Hill of Sturgeon Bay. He was born October 6, 2001 in Ulan Ude, Russia, and came to the United States in October 2002. He attended Sturgeon Bay High School and received his High School Equivalency Diploma.

Sasha was a talented young man who loved art and enjoyed music, writing lyrics and poetry, working out, reading, and playing the guitar and violin. He loved to travel, and enjoyed his many trips to visit family in New York and Finland.

He is survived by his mother, Leslie Hill of Sturgeon Bay; son, Malikai King; aunt, Fia (Howell Murray) Hill of Sturgeon Bay; uncle, Andrew (Susan) Hill of Wakefield, MI.; and cousins, Liisa Murray of Sturgeon Bay; David Murray of Astoria, New York; Joseph Hill of Ironwood, MI.; and Anna Hill and Maggie Hill of Wakefield.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Leona Hill.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Christ the King Episcopal Church in Sturgeon Bay with Rev. Olin K. Sletto officiating.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Huehns Funeral Home and will continue at the church on Thursday from 10:00 to the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be Saturday at Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield near his grandparents.
