I knew Susie when she was in Devereux Victoria, Texas. I was also a student there. She was a complete delight! When I left, I knew I would miss her a lot. She always lit up a room with her bright smile. I enjoyed walking with her when we went outside on hikes. She loved it when people would describe for her what was happening, what flowers, trees, or animals were seen. Even when she would get mad she was delightful! She would actually make me chuckle! I did ask why she was mad & we would talk about it. Helped us both!
I will miss her & your families are in my prayers. Please put a pink rose on her grave for me. We both loved them.

I knew Susan as a 'FROSH" who had a locker near mine. An inner sparkle-down to earth. I became aware of her accident and situation, but lost track over the years. I hope there is a Carole King song for her. Not Susie.

Chuck,

I check the Advocate each Wednesday and Saturday and today learned of your sister's passing. I want to extend my sincere sympathy to you and your family.

I am retired in New Jersey after 33 years of teaching English. I have such fond memories of watching you on the football field. I believe I was in 7th or 8th grade when you were a senior. I was always hanging around the practices and, of course, never missed a game. You were always very kind to this youngster at the time. And that was and still is very much appreciated.

There is no good time to lose a family member but it is especially difficult at this time of year. Dad passed away December 18th. But the activities of the holiday season and support from family members does help get through the sorrow although it never goes away.

Sincerely ,
Philip V. Graf

My thoughts are with you all. Susie was a classmate and friend and I will miss her. I had occasionally visited when she lived in Green Bay and Sturgeon Bay and your words were right-she made the best of any situation.
I regret I cannot attend the visitation, but will be thinking of you and remembering her.
In sympathy,
Grace and Charles Fuller
