Steven Charles Sargent, 67, of the Town of Wausaukee, formerly of Sturgeon Bay, passed away Thursday evening, September 27, 2018 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay.
Steve was born July 10, 1951 in Sturgeon Bay, the son of the Charles and Mary (Whipple) Sargent. He graduated from Sevastopol High School in 1970. On April 26, 1975, Steve married Judith Ann Kerscher at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Sturgeon Bay.
Steve was self-employed for many years, owning and operating a landscaping business and then driving semi for 20 years for the logging industry. He retired in 2013.
He enjoyed putzing on vehicles, helping Judy with her crafting and art fairs, and had a huge interest in vintage cars.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Judith, with whom he shared over 43 years of marriage; four children, Tammy Sargent of Sturgeon Bay, Sarah Sargent of Casco, Gregg (Danielle) Sargent, and Julie Sargent, both of Green Bay; eight grandchildren, Will, Jacy, Vanessa, Abi, Austin, Kiana, Brent, and Logan; two great-grandchildren, Carmelo and Ziara; six siblings, Dennis (Bonnie) Sargent, LuAnne Papke, Diane (Robert) Conrad, George Sargent, Brian (Cindy) Sargent, and Jim Sargent.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents; and sister-in-law, Susie Sargent.
At Steve’s request there will be no public service.
