Ruth Schwarzbauer

     Ruth (Juneau) Schwarzbauer, 87, of Sturgeon Bay, WI, passed away at Scandia Village in Sister Bay on Monday, December 3, 2018 with her husband, George, by her side.   

     Ruth was born on September 8, 1931 to Elmer and Elsie Juneau and graduated from Appleton West in 1950.  She married George Schwarzbauer on June 26, 1954, and they enjoyed 64 years together.

     She raised a family in Appleton, WI., and Steve (Karen), Michael, Paul (Deb) and Juli (John Sauer) will miss her very much.

     Ruth was also survived by her grandchildren, Jon, Anna, Esther, Chara, Sari, Selena, Katie, Keely and Audrey; and her great-grandchildren Axel, Casper and Juneau. 

     She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers and sister, Robert, Clifford and Dolores Juneau.  

     “Our family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Scandia Village for treating Mom and our family with care and compassion during her stay.  We would also like to thank her neighbors in Valmy that looked after her.”

     A memorial service to honor Ruth’s life will be announced at later date.
