Robert David Patza, Sr.

     Robert David Patza Sr., 71, of Sturgeon Bay was called home to Heaven on Saturday, November 3, 2018.

     He was born on June 26, 1947 in Sturgeon Bay, the son of the late Joseph and Glenice (Simon) Patza.  Robert grew up in Sturgeon Bay and attended Sevastopol school from elementary to high school.

     He loved watching the Packers, Badgers, Brewers, and Nascar.  Robert also enjoyed going hunting with his special friend, Annie, his nephew, Scott, and his friend, Bill.  He was an avid outdoorsman who loved cooking, working the corn stand for many events, and spending time with his cat, Princess.

     Robert is survived by his special friend of 15 years, Annie Ostrand; daughter, Becky (Travis) LuMaye; son, Robert Patza Jr. (fiancée, Angela Ditewig); grandson, Zach Keller; granddaughters, Zoe Gum and Noelle Patza; and step-grandchildren, Jacob and Dylan Kaye.  He is further survived by his two brothers, Bill (Isabelle) Patza and Roger (Jane) Patza; three sisters, Ann Edmound; Sharon Adams, and Terri Schiltz; and many nieces and nephews.

     Robert was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kenny Patza.

     A funeral service will be celebrated at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Huehns Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay with Pastor Peter Mannoja officiating.

     Visitation for family and friends will be held at Huehns Funeral Home on Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:50 p.m.

     The family would like to thank everyone at Door County Oncology, Unity Hospice and the staff at CVS Pharmacy for their care and support.
