Patricia Mary Heller, 81, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at the Door County Medical Center - Skilled Nursing Facility.
She was born January 9, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Mahoney) Munden. Patricia attended St. Philip Neri Catholic Grade School and graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas Academy High School in South Shore - Chicago in 1956. She worked as a hairdresser for over 40 years and in the last ten, she owned and operated Carol Jo’s Beauty Salon in Blue Island, IL. She loved gardening, crocheting beautiful blankets, doing crossword puzzles, and playing cards. Patricia was a beautiful woman who was intelligent, funny, quick witted, and sharp tongued. She was a great cook and had a big heart, which led her to rescue several greyhound dogs, loving them and her cats until her passing.
Patricia will be missed by her four children, Pat (Jim) Kich of Blue Island, IL, Marianne (John) Climack of Chicago, IL, Scott (Julie Mraz) Tebo of Waukesha, WI, and James Hamilton of North Chicago, IL; seven grandchildren, Gerald (Amelia) Gustavson, Christopher (Samantha) Gustavson, Julia (Michael) Ernst, Rachel (Karl) Rhea, Haley Kich (partner, Kate Rothgaber), Carli Tebo, and Courtney Tebo; seven great-grandchildren (and one on the way), Wyatt, Vivian (and Olivia) Gustavson, Paige Tharp and Charlotte Gustavson, and Kylie, Meika, and Jimmy Rhea; former husband and dear friend, Mike Tebo; and former sister-in-law, Norma Mullenix.
She was preceded in death by her parents and the love of her life, Jack Cryan.
