Kraig Morris Kemp

     Kraig Morris Kemp, 66, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away at home on Sunday, October 29, 2017. He had been living with various health issues for years.

     Kraig was born October 23, 1951 in Sturgeon Bay, WI, the son of Lester Antone “Tony” Kemp and Eleanor Alice (Legg) Kemp. He attended Sturgeon Bay High School and graduated with the class of 1970. Kraig was a former newspaper delivery person for the Door County Advocate.

     He grew up attending the Sturgeon Bay Moravian Church and Moravian youth camps over the years. Kraig had a brilliant mind and enjoyed reading and computers. He was also an avid photographer.

     Kraig is survived by his mother, Eleanor of Sturgeon Bay; and two sisters, Jill (John Gunn) Kemp of Wisconsin Rapids and Cory Kemp of Cincinnati, OH.

     He was preceded in death by his father.

     Kraig’s life will be celebrated with a memorial service held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the Sturgeon Bay Moravian Church with the Rev. Dr. Matthew R. Knapp, Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Bayside Cemetery.

     Visitation for family and friends will be held at the Sturgeon Bay Moravian Church on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service.

     Memorials may be given in Kraig’s honor for the Sturgeon Bay Moravian Church.
