Our family was hit hard with the news of our beloved Harold's passing. He had such a profound effect on all of us. We will hold dear all our visits over the years, his deep curiosity about everything, the sharing of all his stories, and his encouraging us to observe, taste, smell, learn all that life has to offer. We had such fun together! He will be deeply missed.

I have many fond memories of working with Dr. Deutsch at the University for 13 yrs from 1973 to 1986. He was a great mentor. Our sympathy to the family.
