Our sympathy to the Powell family. Gregg was a great friend to many people, with a great
big heart. He was my fishing partner for over 16 years. When asked where we caught all the fish he always said in the lip. We will miss him, the fish won't.

I was privileged to know Gregg only for the last two years of his life and to work with him only over the internet. In a way, that increased the magnitude of what I learned about him as a person. It was only when I realized how very ill and close to the end he had been that I appreciated his great devotion to creating, to children, to writing and to those he loved. It's also abundantly clear to me how much he was loved by those who knew him best. Gregg continues to be a wonderful gift to us all.
