Jeffrey Allan Stelter, 54, of Woodstock, IL, passed away Saturday night, February 29, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, WI.
He was born July 19, 1965 in Park Ridge, IL, the son of Allan Fredrick Stelter and Helene Margaret (Schwengal) Stelter. After graduating from Grayslake High School, Jeffrey was employed with his family’s business, ECC Heating and Air Conditioning in Wheeling, IL. His love of cooking would eventually lead him to own and operate his own business, J.J. Noodles. For the past 20 years, Jeffrey was the manager of the Chili’s Restaurant in Mc Henry, IL.
He loved cooking, canning, and baking. Jeffrey was a fun-loving and caring man.
He will be missed by his son, Jeffrey Jr. (Carly) Stelter of Kenosha, WI [and his mother, Julie O’Brien of Sturtevant, WI]; his parents, Allan and Helene Stelter of Washington Island, Door County, WI; one brother and three sisters, Douglas (Lisa) Stelter of Lake Geneva, WI, Janet Jessen (Rex) of Washington Island, Karla (Craig) Mertes of Antioch, IL, and Jennifer (Knute) Krueger of Sturgeon Bay, WI; many dear nieces and nephews; and the entire Chili’s family at the McHenry restaurant.
A memorial gathering in McHenry will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jeffrey’s name for Vivent Health (445 South Adams St., Green Bay, WI 54301).
