My sympathy goes out to the family of Sam Lang. I knew him through the Calvary United Methodist Church talk group in Egg Harbor.
Sam was probably the most lively and animated participant in the entire group. He had a keen sense on how to find and bring a clipping of a news article and turn it into the most interesting of discussions. He also knew how to involve others in the weekly topic of his choice.
He also would frequently find and bring articles of significance to give to others in the group, which was much appreciated by all. Sam is one person I will surely miss, as will the others.
