Samuel John Lang, Jr.

     Samuel J. Lang, Jr., 83, of Egg Harbor, died Friday evening, June 23, 2017 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay.

     He was born September 13, 1933 in Evanston, IL, the son of Samuel and Ruth (Hodgson) Lang. Sam received his B.A. from Hamilton College in 1955 before serving his country in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1958. He was employed with U.S. Plywood and Champion International Paper during his working career.

     On December 29, 1956, he married Caroline “Bunny” Jones. She preceded him in death on May 5, 2015.

     Sam was active in the Methodist Church, singing in the choir, participating in the Men’s Club, and was a member of Lions Club.

     He is survived by his three children, Diane, Bill, and Sam Lang.
